I'm bringing this up because Charlie Sheen is not winning and totally going off the deep end....I just watched Wall Street for the first time a few months ago.....but for some reason the new Charlie doesn't effect how I see the old Charlie?? When I see stuff like Two and Half Men I see the "winning" Charlie......but The Wraith is thankfully not ruined for me!!

I was talking to Cindy Mancini the other night and I brought this up....I asked her "have you seen the commentary for Some Kind of Wonderful?" and before I could say it, she said "omg Leah Thompson is kind of dumb" I of course was like "yesssssssss that's what I was going to say!!!" I love the commentary don't get me wrong, but you really see Leah Thompson in a new light after hearing her and her husband talk for the whole movie?!

Another example....John Cusack......have you guys seen him in interviews? he's a bit standoffish......serious about politics?

Has anyone seen this though when the interviewer didn't know who he was LOL

and how about this: actually quite funny...

I still love Lloyd Dobbler I guess......

Who do you see differently now?

I couldn't sit through that whole interview with John Stewart- Cusack was way too boring.
I still like Sean Penn movies, although I disagree with his politics and think he goes way overboard with wanting everyone to see what a wonderful humanitarian he is. We have to remember that people like him are great actors. I still like Mel Gibson too and his movies. I've never been a big Tom Cruise fan, so after his couch-jumping episode, I think he really turned me off.

@ Good Package - I was going to say the same thing about Penn. I can't stand him in real life, but he is a brilliant actor and I love his movies. Tom Cruise is another one for me....complete tool in real life but I like his movies. There are more.....

To answer your question Muffy.... yes, I can separate the two!

i regards to charlie sheen, i guess it's been a little tough (for me) to enjoy seeing him in the 80s movies i grew up watching him in.. but watching Two and A Half Men hasn't been difficult at all? haha

not long ago, Lucas was on cable and i caught a piece of it.. with all the recent stuff surrounding Sheen and given the loss of Cory Haim.. it was a bit much and i ended up changing the channel, because i thought wow.. how some things turn out...

in his sitcom, his character's personalty is very sarcastic and emotionally insensitive..haha, so it's not too tough to watch, i guess.

as for Cusack, i have noticed that he pushes his political agenda a bit.. but i so love his face in the movies.

i have seen that video where the interviewer got him wrong! he kept cool, but you know what he was thinking!

confusing John Cusack with Kevin Spacey...lol.

celebrity interviews kinda bore me though...i don't watch enough of them to where this issue really comes up for me. I like movies I like regardless of if the actors in them are mentally stable or not. Doesn't really matter to me. I still like some old Charlie Sheen flicks even in the midst of what's going on in his personal life.

Actually, Ronnie mentioned mine; Corey Haim (now deceased of course) and Corey Feldman. I struggle to watch the 'Corey' movies without thinking about the drugs and everything else. I can do it, but it still jars somewhat.

Cusack - anyone that follows him on Twitter would know what he's like even before seeing the interview.

What gets me is when you see an actress who (in your mind) is still at their mid-eighties 'height of hotness', or (for the laydeez) some guy who you always picture as a hunk with six-packs on his six-pack, and suddenly there's people on screen who could be your grandparents, talking about how it was when they pretended to have sex on camera....

OMG, that chick who interviewed Cusack is majorly retarded. Think of all the 80s trivia you could have spealed off to him, and things he could have told you about classics like sixteen candles. There are people who would give alot to interview him and other 80s stars. She does not deserve to be in his presence. Not only does she not know who he is but obviously does not know who Spacey is either. Dumb b!@ch.

I thought John Cusack was pretty nice to that girl considering that she was INSISTING that he was in American Beauty. "Really??? That wasn't you?? No!!"

I try to separate celebrities personal lives from their professional lives as much as I can. Unfortunately, it's hard to do that nowadays with all of the tabloids and gossip blogs out there.

I thought he was ok, too. I can't believe she's studying film.
