Its really hard to put into a list of top ten, the next time I watch somthing like a Lethal Weapon, Die Hard, Bloodsport, Willow, Three O' Clock High, or a Quiggly Down Under I could change my mind about one of the ones on the list. But I will say that the my number one will always be the burbs, for whatever reason the movie really does it for me

If you can count a series of films as one, I would say the Indiana Jones Trilogy.
You know of all the ones you guys mentioned I've yet to see

Citizen Kane is getting alot of mentions and I know it is highly regarded, but IMO it's absolute vomit.
Jack, BTW, I love The Wicker Man '73. Fantastic movie. I have not seen the remake, but I read somewhere that it is now considered an unintentional comedy.

I cannot put it down to ten movies but if I did it would look like nobody elses. That's for sure. Caddyshack would be number one for starters. Weekend at Bernies might make the list too. The Wicker Man '73 is a justly recognized masterpiece. The remake is probably one of the worst remakes of any film ever. And another bad Nic Cage film...
By the way, my Top 10 list is serious and not just put together to be a contrarian. I want to beat the drum to folks on here to move a little out of their comfort zone of yet another viewing of "Can't Buy Me Love" and just check out some of these amazing films, even if they aren't from the 80s. It may look like an off-putting high-brow list, but I think that many of you will find these to be great, enthralling, and entertaining films, even if "Sunrise" is a silent film (but it looks like it could've been filmed this past year) and "The Wages of Fear" has subtitles.
