That could be anything from Blade Runner to LadyHawke.
It might be worth checking out all the stuff that either Vangelis or Jean Michel Jarre did through the 80s, it's got their kinda vibe to it.

Could be anything but my guess is that it´s some early 90s sci-fi flick. (Nemesis etc.) 1992 Rutger Hauer movie Split Second includes pretty similiar score.
If anyone knows it, i´ll by him/her a beer.

You might also want to look into early tangerine dream-eque soundtracks. Some of the sounds and guitar in there remind me a bit of the soundtrack for the movie "Legend". (Not on the release soundtrack if it is from the movie...)
While Paul's notions are dead on, I'm 99% sure it isn't Blade Runner, and 70% sure it isn't Vangelis.
Jean Michel Jarre (as Paul said) and Tangerine Dream are my best hunches off the top of my hat.

It sounds alot like "Cobra" by Sylvester Levay....it's like one of my favorite movies! haha
