This was a good thriller directed by Ted Kotcheff (First Blood, Uncommon Valor, Weekend at Bernie´s), written by Robert Mark Kamen (Karate Kid, Taps) and starring Michael O´Keefe, Karen Allen, Peter Fonda, James Woods, Brian Dennehy and Elizabeth Ashley.
Young athlete named Danny (O´Keefe) falls in love with a girl (Allen) and she leads him to a religious cult camp called Homeland. He´s brainwashed by the cult and the leader (Fonda) gives him a new name, Joshua. His parents (Dennehy & Ashley) can´t get him out so they hire a professional (Woods). "10,000$ cash, no questions asked."
Awesome acting from everyone and i especially loved the haunting de-programming scene.

Good movie. It ran a lot on cable back in the 80's. James Woods is excellent, as always.
