Finally got the Blastfighter dvd yesterday and i watched it right away.
Last time i saw this was some 25 years ago when we watched the cut Finnish VHS tape. I remembered that cool gun and all those special shots it had.
Surely this movie is a First Blood rip-off with some Deliverance thrown in but it´s so darn entertaining.
It has a cool synth score, the main theme sounds like a Moroder tune. The other theme is a tune called Evening Star written by the Gibb brothers (Bee Gees) and performed by a group called Tommie Baby.
It´s a sad and violent story so you love to see when Sopkiw finally blasts those small town idiots with his sci-fi shotgun.

aTomiK, you just gotta love any Lamberto Bava film with Michael Sopkiw (Doesn't this guy's name look like an eye test chart? And how exactly do you pronounce it in English? ) and George "Anthropophagus" Eastman. And I love the Tarantino quote on the box too!
