I really enjoyed this one!! Anne Margaret, C.Thomas Howell, Kelly Preston, William Zabka.
It's hard in the beginning to get past their awful southern accents ha!!! or calling C.T "Bubba".
But honestly, really strong actors and a different story line....alot of laughs, actually make this movie a cool little find.

I saw this for thew first time last year, and I liked it too. Here's what I wrote in the other thread:
This movie is goofy as hell! But I likes it
C. Thomas Howell is great as Bubber, and there's quite a few laughs to have throughout. William Zabka is in it, and I like him. I wish he had more screen time, as he was playing a regular fella this time around, which is different. Kelly Preston has her moments too. She's crazy but lovable towards the end. It delivers a cute ending as well, awwww

I totally did a search first and nothing came up for me? I swear I didn't spell it wrong ha!! And I swore i'd seen Atomik write something about it!
Preston is totally crazy, a little like her character in Secret Admirer..I love when Rose is letting her have her fit in the house and she's trashing the living room.......and you do end up loving her in the end.

just watched this for the very first time and it was a lot different in tone to what i was expecting but i quite enjoyed it and thought it was a pretty decent film overall!
i see what you mean by the southern accents atomik,at first i found it annoying but after a while it went straight over my head.
good little film this and i'm pleased i finally got to check it out!
