"License To Drive" is an excellent flick, but no movie is worth spending $80 on. It was gone out of print now, so that is why the price is so outrageous.. I think I paid about $9 for the dvd when I bought it.

I ordered it from that website on the 25th.....got the email it shipped from the UK on the 28th....says it should take 7-10 working days via USPS. Today is #11 of those working days......when should I throw in the towel??? I have a feeling it isn't coming and was too good to be true? am I premature?

I was happy when one of the movie channels (can't remember which one) showed it a couple months ago and I was able to DVR it.

In the words of Tom Petty...."the waiting is the hardest part..." Hopefully it will come Muffy...nothnig more frustrating than sending money and not getting an item...good luck.
I was lucky enough to find two sealed copies....on a crusty shelf in a corner store of all places....for $5 bucks each. I gave one away and kept the other for myself. If I see another, I'll grab it for you Muffy....just in case!

Kev you are awesome I remember when you found those DVD's!
so yeah i'm pretty sure it's a bootleg. I only paid $9.00 for it so I don't feel at a loss because the disc plays great and it has the extras i've wanted to watch..and good quality..I own the vhs anyway. I took a picture for you guys. It says JL Entertainment.
I bought Tuff Turf last year from a used CD site i've bought many things from before and i'm pretty sure it's a good bootleg.....does anyone know about these things? are they just foreign?
I'd love any info!!

I don't have much to add Muffy. I do know that some releases of lesser known movies get a "bare bones" release, meaning, minimal effort in packaging and no inserts...you see this a lot in the $5 Wallymart bins. Also, after someone talked about it on the Rewind, I bought Ghost Fever w' Shermen Helmsley at Zellers....it looked like someone scanned the original cover and printed it at home...it was bad.

Just saw that "License to Drive" is being released on blu ray on January 17th and it looks like the DVD is also in print again. Don't know if I will buy this one unless it has a ton of new special features, since Kev gave me a copy of the special edtion DVD a little while back! Thanks again, Kev

I found it quite easy to find. In fact I have a legit double DVD with LTD and Mischief. Don't know if anyone owns that, but well worth seeking out.

I own the Anchor Bay R1 SE dvd, got it pretty cheap here. Muffy, your License to Drive dvd seems to be the Australian R0 release.
