Dempsey and Makepeace (1985–86) was a British television crime drama made by LWT for ITV, created and produced by Ranald Graham. It tells a story of an undisciplined New York City police officer James Dempsey (Michael Brandon). Dempsey, kills his partner during a corruption investigation. As a following action he is transferred to the London SI10 elite unit where he is assigned to work with Detective Harriet Makepeace (Glynis Barber). The couple's temperament contributes to numerous conflicts. An additional reason for antagonisms between the characters is the physical train. However, with each subsequent criminal action Dempsey and Makepeace form a unique friendship and understanding.
I loved this show soooo much!!

Dempsey and Makepeace was big also here in Finland and new episode was the highlight of the week. Glynis Barber, so pretty and i love the fact that she´s still married with Brandon.

Im not familiar with this. My first thought when I saw this thread was that it was something about chris makepeace and Patrick dempsey

A good show, it didn't get long enough.

Michael Brandon and Glynis Barber had great chemistry, as they would they're husband and wife.
Glynis Barber is so hot.
