In my youth my Happiest Place on Earth was Universal Studios. You could walk up to KITT sit down and have a chat with him.

Attractions like 'Conan The Barbarian', 'The A-Team', 'Miami Vice', and 'Battle Star Gallactica' was it for me!

Indeed, Michael Knight's adventures are rather silly all in all, but that doesn't make them any less entertaining to watch, for whatever reason. Now, just imagine: KITT driven by the Blues Brothers...that might be an actually workable crossover for Universal to consider if they'd ever get the right Jake....
