So being a long suffering fan of the franchise formerly known as the Expos I was pretty happy to hear Andrew Dawson finally got into the baseball Hall of Fame. It took a long time, but I'm hoping this will lead to another great one I watched Tim Raines getting in down the line. Just feel bad for old Bert Blyleven who had 74.2 percent which wasn't enough for the 75%. And to think some knucklehead writers gave a vote for David Segui when that vote would have tipped the balance.

I must say when I first saw this post I thought you were going to say that he had died! Thank goodness I was wrong.
I loved him when he played with the Cubs in the 80s. A long overdue reward to a great player.

I'm a fan as well...loved him as an Expo. Still have a few of his old baseball cards floating around here somewhere.

Always liked 'The Hawk' so I'm glad he got in but would still have preferred to see Bert Blyleven get in.

Looks like the Hawk will be wearing a Cubs hat in the ceremony. I'm hoping Rock Raines will be inducted next year.
