Can be of all time, or just the 80's. Why do you like it?
Mine is "Happy Town" by Jill Sobule
With songs about prozac and depression amongst the many different topics on the album, the sprinkling of happy dust over the town by a pair of godlike hands is the perfect metaphor for the album.
Interestingly, the original album cover was banned by Walmart, forcing the change to this one... because instead of test tubes, it showed a split open prozac pill, sprinkling the town in dust.

Bon Jovi finally stop pretending they're hard rock: just sit down, have some tea do the cross word and remember their glory days! Excellent album too.
Of course George Michael and all he represents now is somewhat different to the guitar strumming, young gun of 1987. Popular with both genders as a solo artist, George was the closest thing to an Elvis or James Dean character we were ever likely to get: A voice of the youth, of second generation immigrants and the new working class. Just an all round cool bloke; the image has changed in recent years, but the talent lives on.

Ive never really thought about it before. Two that spring to mind are
MOTLEY CRUE: THEATRE OF PAIN
and
METALLICA: MASTER OF PUPPETS
Just because I think if you took the bands name and the album title OFF the album and held it up the imagery would be totally recognziable to anyone from the '80s.

I really love the album cover for Cyndi Lauper's "She's So Unusual", Prince's "When Doves Cry, and Van Halen's "1984"...they really capture the 80's spirit for me. * I have these three albums plus about 10 or so more in frames and hanging on my wall...
