I thought I'd bump this thread up, too, since we have a current thread about actors that you DO like, for no apparent reason. Anyone want to add to this list of actors you DON'T like?! I liked one in mamamia's list: everyone in the cast of Friends! I think David Schwimmer is the worst!

Brendan Frazier, johnny depp. Depp has ruined his rep with some real stinkers so I don't go c his stuff anymore. Same with Frazier.

I just watched the trailer for Kevin Smith's newest disaster, Yoga Hosers, where good pal Johnny Depp reprises his idiotic mumbling Quebecois detective from Tusk. I also see that Smith has cast his and Depp's daughter as the leads, and both mothers are also in the film. Smith needs to stop and go away. Forever. The once marvellous writer of hilariously vulgar screenplays like Clerks and Dogma is now a pathetic shadow of himself, cranking out stupid vanity film projects filled with inside, mystifyingly unfunny jokes. He's not a stupid fellow, but I can't understand why he doesn't realize that he is just crapping on his own filmmaking legacy. I guess your reality gets distorted when money is no object in buying the best weed. I've noticed a bizarre paradox about his career. His early films, which are well written, are, by Smith's own admission, poorly directed. It seems that over the years, as he's gotten better as a director, he's gotten much worse as a writer. How does this happen? Weed makes you direct better, but you can't write a joke to save your soul?

Julianne Moore. I know that she's won an Oscar and has a bunch of nominations, but I still don't think that she's a very good actress.

Hahaaaa! Paul. You are so right about the Baldwins. There is one exception for me though. The one that hosts SNL AT TIMES IS actually pretty funny.

Being from the otherside of the Atlantic Terd I've never seen much of SNL and I never actually knew that Alec Baldwin hosted it and for as many times as what he did. From what I've read it seems like most people seemed to like him on it and I've got to say that I think out of all the Baldwin's that Alec is probably my favourite of the bunch as well!
I'm trying to think of an actor or actress that I don't really like but I can't think of one,I think my trouble is I'm not fuzzy enough as surely there has got to be someone out there I don't like!

Yes, not the greatest actress. I always remember her as "the naked girl" because she likes to get naked in a lot of her films. The only role I liked of hers was in The Shipping News. As far as Kevin Smith, I feel as though he just does not care whether he puts out quality films anymore. He has his podcast, and his tv show Comic Book Men, which keeps all of his friends employed. Now his daughter is getting older, and I imagine thinks she should be an actress. She strikes me as having the IQ of a doorknob. He knows his fans are going to go see or rent anything with his name on it.

Yeah, Julianne Moore is all "look at me naked, I'm so fearless." To be fair, she was good as a crazy, pill-addicted actress in the Cronenberg's Map to the Stars. Then again, she did have a hilarious scene on the toilet, yelling at her assistant that all the painkillers had constipated her and that she was likely going to need an enema. Look at me...Fearless. LOL
Kevin Smith always casts his horsey-faced wife in parts too. I don't think that he has another good film in him. He's just a walking joke, soon to be the answer to a trivia question.

I have a sort of like/hate thing with Vince Vaughn. Early in his career, it seemed like he would go on to a great career. But lately, he has starred in a slew of really bad movies. I thought of him because he had a small part in Into the Wild, which I watched this past weekend.I don't know if he is trying for a career in comedy or drama. He seems to do better at drama. It's as if he is trying way too hard with comedic roles.

I don't think there is anyone I dislike, to be honest.

I thought he was great in the second Jurassic Park movie, and Dodgeball.
