I converted all of my CDs to digital and sold them all. My CD buying days are long behind me. My mp3 collection is ridiculous now....

A couple weeks ago I had a bit of a CD spree - I got
"The Works" 1 2 and 3 from Bananarama, one of my favorite bands, it has all the singles including the obscure ones, and plenty of great album tracks from the early albums. It goes up to about 1995.
"Some people have real problems" by Sia. Sia Furler is an Aussie singer who has had some great success in Britain over the last 10 years, but is only gaining recognition here at home now. This is her 4th album, and I'm chasing up the first 3 after falling in love with her voice. This is the clip for the first single "Soon we'll be found" off the new album.
PS Sia's song "Breathe me" was used in the final scene of "Six Feet Under"!
"Rockferry" by Duffy. Has Duffy made it big in America?. She's the current epitome of British blue eyed soul. Check out the song "Mercy" for a great example, or the song "Warrick Avenue"

I am so behind current music right now, but I want to go pick up the latest from Arctic Monkeys and have heard great things about a new synth group called La Roux who sound like they are 80's influenced.

"Total Euphoria" by Euphoria. They were a dance trio from Sydney in the early 90s' who enjoyed success with such songs as "One In A Million," "Love You Right" and "Do For You."

The Rhythm of the Night by Corona, another Eurodance outfit, who are Italian. They are best known for The Rhythm of the Night. I know of another two songs by them, Baby Baby (which is an original of theirs, by the way) as well as Try Me Out.
