Brett, Adrian and the rest of the Vikings keep rolling with a thumping of the Seahawks. Looks like it will be a battle between them and the Saints for NFC supremacy.

Just thought of something odd. My favorite football team is the Vikings who so far have lost 4 games this season. 4 of my closest friends here at the rewind's favorite teams just happen to be the teams who have beaten the Vikings.
Loss #1 was against Pittsburgh favourite team of Pittsburghgirl Loss #2 was against the Arizona Cardinals favourite team of Ronnie Loss #3 was against the Carolina Panthers favourite team of Motley Loss #4 was against the Chicago Bears favourite team of Petty

Sammy, my mom was sooooo upset! She just couldn't understand how "her Brett" and the Vikings could've lost to the lowly Bears, lol. I read your FB post about Adrian Peterson--he does fumble a lot, doesn't he? I remember reading that somewhere else. Hopefully things'll look up for the Vikings.

Sad thing is that I've been a Viking fan my whole life so these late season meltdowns don't even shock me anymore. As a matter of fact I've come to expect them and to even anticipate them. It just wouldn't be football without the Vikings disappointing.

So the Cowboys beat the Eagles last night (hee hee hee hee) and the Jets beat the Bungles (um, Bengals). Today is the Ravens against the Pats (please, oh please, win, Ravens) and the Packers and Cards. Doesn't matter to me who wins that one.

We're down to the final eight teams. It's very possible that the final four teams could start with the letter C. Here's hoping the Vikings kick some serious Cowboys butt and makes sure it doesn't happen. The other C teams could win and it wouldn't break my heart at all.

Pretty happy with the final 4, although San Diego had been my AFC team of choice this year. No matter, they're still in pretty good shape for next year. Looks like New Orleans and Indianapolis aren't as overrated as people thought; they're now my preferred Super Bowl matchup. Meanwhile, Dallas now has to wonder if it was REALLY worth going all out for revenge last week; maybe if they'd shown some restraint, they've had gas in the tank to put up a reasonable effort. In contrast to they, McNabb at least got the ball into the end zone despite being overwhelmed, and he and the rest of Philadelphia took losing a similar game with class and dignity, without screaming in frustration at the opposing coaches. So Minnesota can smile as they have now avenged the Herschel Walker thievery and look to be in good shape moving on to the next to last step.

I'd personally lean towards New Orleans; the franchise and the city deserve to reach the summit.

wow was i wrong huh? lol oh well what i didn't understand is why the play clock never stopped during the whole game? it went so fast because of that too? as far as the who at the halftime show i thought they were terrible too old when you have to strain so much to sing it is time to retire lol i was never a big fan of them either actually? and the commercials were okay this year but my very fave was the dorito one with the yellow lab, then the snickers one with betty white and the only one with the clydesdale horses that one was cute too!

For some reason I missed the Clydesdale horses! I liked the Doritos commercials. The Budweiser commercial where the people made the bridge was so dumb I thought. I loved the game though!!!!!!!!!
