This isn't anything to do with the 80's, but here in Australia this weekend we had an amazing event that bought so many people together.
The final episode of Masterchef aired on Sunday night, featuring a cook off between the 2 finalists Julie Goodwin and Poh Ling Yiao. This show has completely captured Australia's imagination, airing as it has over the last 3 months, 6 nights a week.
For the finale on Sunday night, over 4.5 million people tuned in. That might not sound a lot to those in America or the UK, but remember we only have a population of 20 million people. So that means that nearly a quarter of the Australian population was watching this one TV show simultaneously. That's a lot of tears when the winner was announced!
