Were you on any meds that could cause inflammation of your liver? I wouldnt' worry too much Rainbowbrite, it could be from fighting off the flu bug. But please don't take my word for it, I am not a Dr. or Nurse. JMHO. Hope you feel okay. Oh, are you getting a CT scan or something- that should tell the Drs. what is ailing you maybe.

I had some liver issues this past January. I was found to have some elevated liver enzymes discovered during some bloodwork I had done when I went in for the flu. They gave me an abdominal ultrasound, more bloodwork and I had to collect my urine at home for 24 hours. All those tests came back negative and my liver enzyme number went back to normal once the flu past.
Hopefully yours is acting up as a byproduct of the flu and will go back to normal once the bug leaves your system.

hi rainbowbrite i hope you feel better soon i am sure you will be okay try not to worry too much !! i am in the same boat actually but with my stomach i went to the doc yesterday because i have been having really bad pains in my stomach for weeks already he is sending me to a digestive physician on july 6th. i already have acid reflux and have had ulcers years ago so now they are gonna do a sonogram and check the gallbladder, then a colonoscopy to check for either colitis or irritable bowel syndrome fun wow huh? i would say no on the colitis though as i am allergic to nuts and have not eaten any in years or seeds for that matter. until i go to the new doc i am staying on a bland diet and taking zantac in the morning and before i go to bed at night and cut down on my coffee alot already. please let us know how you make out at the doctor good luck and take care!! dee
