wow alot of great concerts lined up for buffalo so far: judas priest and whitesnake july 8th in canadaqua, jackson brown august 1st same place and blondie and pat benatar august 11th canadaqua, joe ****er will be at U.B. on may 5th, george thorogood will be at the erie county fair august 15th, bad co.and the doobie bros. july 2nd in canadaqua, moody blues august 18th at shea's downtown, and sept. 5th. cruefest with theory and drowning pool and introducing the charm city devils? anyone here their music yet? dee [Smile]

Blondie/Pat Benatar sounds like the pick of the bunch for me, I'd really enjoy seeing that. Imagine Blondie singing "Love is a battlefield"!

i agree stitch that will be a good concert so far i am going to see the moody blues and pat benatar and blondie i have seen judas priest twice already but if someone else wants to go i will go because i love whitesnake also. this morning i got a e mail from a local radio station and entered to win 4 tickets to see staind with a limo ride and all on may 1st. they will announce the winner thursday keep your fingers crossed for me actually i entered to win for my neice and her fiance who loves staind lol dee

buffalogirl, I would bet money that my friend who lives close to Lake Chataqua will want to drive up to see the Doobies/ Bad Co. concert. I saw Bad. Co. a loooonnng time ago, but they were really great! I'll let ya know if I hear from my friend, if she is going. I wouldn't mind seeing Bad Co. again.

hi pittsburghgirl i am sure it will be a great concert i have not seen either of them yet but michael mcdonald always sings some doobie songs at his concerts i am not sure if i am going to that concert but let me know anyways if your friend is going ? take care dee

great line-up for the free concerts here at artpark on tuesday nights this year if anyone is interested you can go to artpark.net and see the list: i will probably be going to see blue oyster cult, the guess who, chris isaak, starship, and peter frampton!! dee

journey will be here at darien lake on august 28th they didn't say on the radio who is gonna be with them ? i am curious to see who the lead singer is now ? i saw them 3 years ago and the one they had was excellent he sounded just like steve perry and looked like him too but he left and i think they have gone thru 2 more since him? okay i have a question for all you alternative music lovers? i just heard on the radio this morning a song by george michael careless whisper trying to figure out what band it was? thanks dee

Thanks dee for the link. I will go check it out. If we are in Erie, maybe we'll go to one of those shows in Buffalo, as it's only an hour away.

hey thanks 80's rocked i will check it out!! some more great free concerts listed for the buffalo area: august 4th at artpark chris isaak,the guess who july 7th at artpark , the cult july 1oth,in lockport free , 54-40 artpark july 21st, lita ford free july 24th in lockport, queensryche free july 31st. in lockport, eddie money free august 7th in lockport the concerts in lockport are the molson canal series for this year and they are free good deal probably go to a few at least this year dee
