I just watched Valley Girl for the very first time!

It was really great. I was expecting a comedy but it was much more dramatic than I had thought. The soundtrack was especially good, I liked the band playing in the club Randy to Julie to, and I thought the band playing the prom was excellent.

Next stop - Sixteen Candles

Cool Stitch. I just watched that the first time this year too. It was pretty good.

Stitch, welcome to the party! I'm glad you enjoyed the flick. The Plimsouls are incredible and Josie Cotton rocks the prom. The "Valley Girl" soundtrack still ranks as one of the best ever.

I thought you guys would be shocked! I had to download Valley Girl coz I don't think it's ever been released here. It's true, I haven't seen 16 candles either, or Pretty in Pink

Stitch Groover, yes, Valley Girl was released here. I know that for certain because I can recollect looking at the video. And isn't it true that it had a glossary of Valley Girl slang on the back?
