I love Easter. Do you guys remember the animated movies:

The Easter Bunny is Coming to Town

and

Here Comes Peter Cottontail

I also love "It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown.

I also like the Velveteen Rabbit and

Watership Down

(even though those aren't Easter- they have bunnies in them)

Watership Down- gave me the creeps as a kid, it's kind of a violent animated movie.

Do you guys remember those?

Pretty much. Not to mention:

-The First Easter Rabbit, featuring Burl Ives's return to Rankin/Bass 12 years after Rudolph

-Peter and the Magic Egg, although the villainous Tim Whiskers was a bit frightening to a 5 year old

-The Berenstain Bears Easter Special, profiling Sister's entry into the world

-Bugs Bunny's Easter Special, or whatever it's official title was; sure, basically a compilation with bridging material, but it was the best of the specials with this format, and they choose a good selection of cartoons. Speaking of which:

-Easter Yeggs, where Bugs is duped into delivering the eggs by a lazy Easter Bunny ("Remember, keep smiling.")

And of course those specials that weren't Easter per se, but which HBO often ran around that time of year:

-Stanley the Ugly Duckling, featuring the voice talents of Wolfman Jack among others

-Shamus Culhane's Noah's Animals trilogy (Noah's Animals, King of the Beasts, Last of the Red Hot Dragons)

So tell me why apart from Easter Beagle, no one wants to air any of these anymore?
