Today it was 54 degrees, but now it is cold again.
I have spring fever so bad, I feel like I am going to just explode...because I have so many things I want to be doing, but the weather is yucky.
Today I did an interview with the newspaper for our Easter Egg Hunt. I went around to businesses and picked up some awesome prizes to give away. I can't wait.
I put an Easter screensaver on my computer.
I am decorated for St. Patrick's Day.
Tomorrow I am starting to walk at the park every day....I hate walking in the cold.
I have to go to a tea party on Saturday with the garden club, and I have to wear a goofy hat....my friend gave me one- cause I don't own hats...and it looked like Molly Ringwald's hate in Pretty in Pink.
Anyone else have spring fever???

This year I have a few mixed emotions of spring fever, been doing a lot of outddor skating and hockey so a little reluctant to give that up, but the winters here are harsh and everybody could use some relief.

I remember being out for up to 7 days once because of snow in elementary school and that's a big deal for North Carolina. It just doesn't snow here like it used to. The climate goes in cycles but it's odd how it can be 70 here this past Thursday like it was and 33 for a high today. I think some of that is what makes folks sick. They are calling for 8 inches of snow here tonight. It's already been sleeting and starting to snow as I type this. I'm glad I'm off tomorrow lol. Tomorrow will probably be one of those lazy days, all day movie watching kinds of deals for me. I love snow but they can have the ice..........

North Dakota is very much ready for spring.
March always means two things
*preseason baseball *March Madness. Really hoping the North Dakota State Bison can win the Summit Conference tournament and qualify for the big dance. If they should happen to qualify they will be the first school in over 30 years to qualify for the big dance in their first year of eligibility. At the very worst they have already qualified for the NIT since they were the regular season champions in the Summit Conference. The NIT is nice but I'd rather see them make the final 64 and be like a #14 seed and be a sacrificial lamb for somebody like Louisville or some other powerhouse. No matter what happens from here they've already had a great season and their record as of now is 23-6. Very doubtful they would get an at large bid since they're not from a major conference.

It seems like the Mountaineers ONLY ever make it to the NIT, if that. We'll see about this year.
Spring for me means (hopefully) no snow and not having to worry as much about sliding all over the road (unless it's wet, dusty or gravelly).

Summer is over! On the calendar anyway. It's still bloody hot, and tomorrow is going to be extreme - winds up to 150kmh. Most schools across the state are closed tomorrow in case there are any new fires, or the current ones flare up in the conditions.

We got a nice foot or so over night. Good news is I didn't have to go into work today. Bad news is I'll be shoveling tons of snow today!

Snowing pretty good here now at the moment. Still, Phil DID see his shadow last month, so one pretty much has to expect one last gasp of winter.

Don't be so greedy Ronnie. Send 10 degrees up this way so you can still be in the 70s and we might get above freezing

I'm like a walking heating pad so I typically don't mind the cold too much...but gotta say...gettin pretty sick of the foul weather. We've been getting alot of snow, then a mild day with rain....then a cold day...equals....a whole friggin lot of ICE. Roads and driveways are a mess and I'm really looking forward to the Spring. Isn't it this weekend when the clocks jump ahead? It will be nice to still see some light at 7-8 PM....
