I know Bale has anger issues, but didn't he have some sort of spat with his mother and sister last year if I recall?

I heard the spat with his mom and sister was something over them wanting money. While I too see both sides to the issue, whoever pointed out Bale getting engrossed in his character was right on. From what I gather, someone walking across set while filming a scene is the equivalent of someone putting their hands on a wall that's just been painted: No No!

Well if your a really good actor, then you should be able to do it over again. Anything can happen at any time to break your concentration, and if you go nuts- then that certainly will break your concentration more than someone walking by during a scene.

Bale should lose the star trip, and be an actor instead.... man, get over yourself! Your doing a ****ing Terminator sequel.... It's not Schindlers list 2 or something!

Jay Lee-I actually was going to say the exact same thing, and say...he wasn't doing Schindler's List.
Do they really do movies anymore, that the acting is even relevant?
In Gran Torino, the 2 kids that play the next door neighbors-neither one of them had ever been in any other movie- they were not great- but compared to someone current...I think they did just as good.
I thought Christian Bale was terrible in The Dark Knight- he didn't really have to "act". He only says one liners the whole way through the movie. He did goof his lines up at the dinner table at the beginning- and they left it in the movie. They probably didn't want to ask him to do it again.

Christian Bale is a legend. All we could say about him before was that he's a great actor, now we can say: he's a great actor and a lunatic. I don't blame him for getting upset but he took it a little too far. It's the funniest thing I've heard all week, though.
Bale usually works with directors who have auteur sensibilities, even on blockbusters like 'Shaft' 'Batman' or '3:10 To Yuma', but this is his most mainstream film to date and a lot of the people working on it understand the product better than they do the art.

Bale is a great actor and his weakness is a short fuse as is a lot of actors and actresses. I find it interesting that the question of movies being made where they even act anymore was brought up . What's even more interesting is Bale's performance in The Dark Knight is questioned when you consider the one bringing up the questions likes movies where little to no acting talent is required........
