I am going tomorrow to get my taxes done, I can't wait. I go to the place that has been doing my taxes for over 15 years...It's a 3 hour round trip drive...
I hate getting all my paperwork done for my taxes, but I love getting a refund. I itemize EVERYTHING.
If you get a refund, do you guys blow it, or save it for a vacation or something special...or do you save it?
This year , with the economy being so bad...I am saving mine for now. I had other plans ...but we'll see in a few months how thing perk back up.
Our hospital just cut back 60 jobs.

Tax time doesn't happen for me until March. I hate the paperwork, but the past few years I have gottoen back instead of owe, so it's a better feeling going through it. I can't remember what I did with my return, but I think it did get put to use paying bills. But I could give you a lengthy list of stuff I wish I could spend it on.

Our tax time is July, as the financial year ends on June 30. Last year I finally did e-Tax, the online system. It was so easy, and I got my refund back in record time.

April is the deadline for having them done-which most people wait around until the last minute.
