Hi guys and gals question here to anyone familiar with HD-DVR. I will be getting an HD-DVR this week to replace my regular DVR. My current package offers around 40 free HD channels. My question is will the HD-DVR record programs on non-HD channels as well? I know the picture won't be as crisp and clear but was wondering if I could still record some of my fave programs that are on regular channels with an HD-DVR. Thanks.........

The answer is yes. Your HD-DVR will record both HD and standard programming.
