I love Valentine's Day. My house it all decorated everywhere for Valentine's Day. I have red and white lights outside, and heart shaped lights , and I have these big iron shaped heart plant holders, that I wrap lights around and put them in my yard. I love the movie My Bloody Valentine, because of how the town is decorated for the Valentine's Day party. I have people booked to stay here for Valentine's Day, and I am having a Valentine's Day party. I have a heart shaped basket that I put movies in them that I think are "love" related....
I was wanting to know what romantic movies people like?
In my basket-that is in my Jacuzzi room for guests- I put in:
Honeysuckle Rose Bed of Roses Can't Buy Me Love Ice Castles Flashdance
I love making Breakfast for people for Valentine's Day-because I can make all kinds of cool stuff -in heart shapes.
Does anyone have major plans for Valentine's Day?
What is your favorite gift to get on Valentine's Day?
I love flowers...I used to not like getting flowers because they die so fast....but now I love them.
I don't like jewelry.
I love Chocolate.

Chocolate is the best thing about Valentine's day for me. When I was with someone I was stressed out on that day, now that I'm not it's more fun being a bystander sometimes.

Me and my wife usually go out for dinner and a movie and exchange a small gift. This year, we'll decorate a bit for our two year old. Sometimes people forget that Valentines day is not just for couples...but for any loved ones...Moms, Dads, kids, etc. We bought Diego valentines for my son to hand out to his friends and family...we'll have more fun with that. * I'm not a big chocolate fan...I look for any excuse to ask my wife to buy me a DVD...so hopefully I'll get one this year for Valentine's Day....

It's just another day. Candy makes you fat and flowers die.

Your all so full of love and affection....I can see why this might not be the favorite holiday of everyone.
Kevdug-It is a time to tell everyone you love them, I never thought about it as an exclusive couples only day. I love just getting my friends together for something.
I love the holidays.

Valentine's day has definately been taken over by corporations and commercialism, but it is a nice idea to have one day out of the year when we treat our loved ones a little more specially than most days.
This year will the first Valentine's Day that I have a Valentine to share it with, so I'm looking forward to it!

Cool Rainbow- nice to see someone appreciate Valentine's Day.
Friday the 13th does fall on the day before Valentine's Day this year. I thought a Friday the 13th/My Bloody Valentine double feature is a cool idea.

The new Friday the 13th opens that day too. I appreciate all holidays but at the same time they're hard to enjoy due to over-commercialization: over-commercialization that a lot of people fall for........

I thought someone said that the new My Bloody Valentine is going to be too scary, or something like that. I'd like to see it just for the 3D thing. I haven't seen anything in 3D since going to Disney World about 4 years ago.

I personally am talking about watching the originals of Friday the 13th and My Bloody Valentine- not the new stuff.

Cindy- Was it really that good??? If you say it is, then I might have to check it out. I know you didn't like the new Halloween movie, or the new Fog, or Prom Night....so if you say this one is good, I might have to go, just to do the 3-D thing. Is it over the top gore?
