I know that HD lost the battle vs Blue Ray...does anyone know if the HD DVDs will play on the Blue Ray machines. I seen a HD Breakfast Club today...for $3.99 !!! I hid it just in case...the worker didn't seem to know much about it. Poor HD....probably hanging w' Beta somewhere out there....

No they won't Kev, unless it's a hybrid HD-DVD/Blueray player, which do exist. We had a HP laptop for sale at work which played both formats a few months ago.
Each format was developed by different companies, just like VHS and Beta back in the day, so they are actually competitors in the market - or at least they were until HD-DVD pulled out due to Blueray becoming the more succesfull format.

Thanks Stitch...I didn't think so, but wasn't sure...$3.99 for Breakfast Club, so I thought I'd better check. I got a Sony Blue Ray for Christmas, so starting to look at options. Cheers!
