I do. I really hate Walmart, and hate the idea of having to go there and buy something. You would think a store chain as big as Walmart would have their new CDs, DVDs and books out on time they day they came out. But no, I guess that's too hard. And it seems like all their employees do at our local Walmart is take breaks! If you're a Walmart employee, please don't take this rant personally!

where i live, walmarts are very crowded and not enough registers open so i wait in a long line everytime i go there. it's a pain. but my city is over-populated so doesn't help.

I had read that Phoenix was the country's 6th largest city and rapidly closing in on #5 (currently Philadelphia).
Wal-Mart's getting to be too big a franchise for its own good, so monopoly hearings might not be that far off. The ones around me aren't usually too crowded, but they're usually monotonous in their interior design so that if you've gone through one, you've gone through them all.

I got to Target. Actually, it's a "super" Target. They sell everything that Walmart sells at the same prices:)I don't know if there are any there in "Too far away from Disney World" but you might look for one...
- Good luck

I like Kmart for the simple fact that they put new CDs on sale the first week.

I hate how my Walmart's entertainment section is organized. In no way alphabetically. I gave up trying to look for the L's. I rarely shop at Walmart.

I know what you mean...I don't think any of the four Walmarts within 75 minutes of me know how to alphabatize.

I hate wal mart too... Unfortunately it is a neccessary evil in my busy life with three kids. Wal Mart is a 10 minute drive and the closest Target is more like 20. My biggest complaint with wal mart is that they always have like 2 registeres open so I spend an eternity in line with a screaming baby and a toddler going crazy..... Target is SOOO much better. More pleasant and clean appearance, always tons of registers open, rarely a wait at all. Similiar products and prices. And honestly I feel the Target "Brands" like Cherokee and others are of a bit higher quality than the Wal Mart Brand stuff.

Seriously though, it really does help if everyone tries to do this
Hey Nick, would you consider doing the same with www.play.com too? I buy so many dvds from there so it would be nice to help out here a little whilst doing so

Hi Helen,
Thanks for wanting to help I'll get a link up for play somewhere for you (even though they pay virtually nothing! ).
Interestingly, I wanted to have them all along, but they don't seem to be too bothered about working with sites like us. They make it real hard to link to them because every link has to be looked up and checked by hand and there seems to be no way of automating it like there is with the big USA companies, who appear to be streets ahead with this sort of thing.
This would be fine, were it not for the fact that we cover over 10,000 products across the 600+ movies we have!
So, I just thought I'd explain a little as its not preferential treatment on our part.

Thanks JD I know that the "retro hardware" theme of it all was probably a mistake, but once you get through that, I quite enjoy using it as well

I hate Wal-Mart too...their clothing is so cheaply made, but Kmart is almost just as bad. Allthough..I like Martha's Stewarts stuff at Kmart-I bought a new patio set there for this summer.
Wal-Mart has a few brands of stuff that I can't find in the only 2 other grocery stores we have near where I live, so sometimes I have to force myself to go.
They just completely remodelled the one near us.
I would rather pay more money and help keep a small business alive than to save a buck at Wal-Mart.
