Ok, I'm gonna totally big note myself here... but this is post 3000 on the Rewind!!
I'd like to thank the Academy, God, all the little people who made it possible - you all know who you are - but most importantly I'd like to thank myself for doing all the typing and mouse clicking!

Congrats on the impressive accomplishment Stitch!
Your acceptance speech reminded me of this classic:
"I would like to say this. Tardiness is not something you can do on your own. Many, many people contributed to my tardiness. I would like to thank my parents for never giving me a ride to school, the LA city bus driver who took a chance on an unknown kid and last but not least, the wonderful crew from McDonalds who spend hours making those egg McMuffins without which I'd never be tardy."
Come to think of it, your title actually made me think of Lane Myer, the K-12 , Beth, and an overly dedicated paperboy. I need to get more sleep.

The acceptance speech is from the movie "Clueless" which was directed by Amy Heckerling who also directed "Fast Times At Ridgemont High".

Conratulations Stich, .....but you got company as I just turned 3K too! If posts counted for major league baseball hits we would be hall of famers.

OMG, how did I not recognise it from Clueless? I love that film but I haven't seen it for about a decade.
Well done Ripper...... is this what it feels like when doves cry?

Thanks Valley, I still think you are some kind of guru with your knowledge of forgotten 80's films.
I think Doves cried when Ozzy bit the head off one way back when!
