Any proof she used ProTools just curious? The original system called Sound Tools was released in 1989 so you can probably bet money that a fair share of 80s artists used them as well......

I was just generalizing - I don't have any inside knowledge of her recording sessions. I'm just saying that in the modern digital era (which includes the late '80s), you can compensate for a ton of lackluster vocal talent through the use of these powerful technological tools. Then add the MTV revolution into the mix, where it's important to make everything visually appealling, and suddenly you have both the desire and the means to concentrate wholly on image. That becomes the top priority, and if the performer doesn't actually have the talent to go along with it - no problem - that can be fixed in the studio. You couldn't do that in the '50s too easily. Even the teen idols like Frankie and Fabian had to have some modicome of singing ability. Today Paris Hilton and Lindsey Lohan, who can't sing worth a lick, are able to release platinum albums and become "recording artists". Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that all the big pop stars of today are talentless. Christina Aguilera...Alicia Keyes...Justin Timberlake...they've all got plenty of talent to go along with the looks.

As if! I am not jealous of people like Kim Kardashian who have to GET PEED ON in a homemade porn to "Make It Big".
I AM jealous of people like JOAN JETT, LITA FORD, ANN and NANCY WILSON of HEART, STEVIE KNICKS, PAT BENATAR, SHEILA E.......Women who actually picked up an instrument, learned how to play it and now whail! THOSE are the people I am jealous of.

Over the years, has the reclusive Kim Richards ever commented on the outrageous antics of her niece Paris? Let's just hope they never cast Paris in Tuff Turf 2, lordy, lordy.

Well I'm usually the first one to take off his top at all the parties. I just need to learn how to close the deal.

I usually wear a painted on body tuxedo to parties and eventually sweat it off by the night's end. It's a way of slowly introducing one's self and being formal at the same time while not being overly formal.........

If I was a rich celebrity I'd hire a bunch of photography students to follow around the most annoying paparazzi all day and night and harass them endlessly with pictures and questions. Then I'd buy ad space in major newspapers and magazines and publish all the most embarrassing photos of them for all to see. Give them a taste of their own medicine.

Best suggestion I've heard in years. Surprised Clooney didn't think of that.

I got no pity for the ones who agree to let cameras follow them around for their "Reality Shows" and then complain when someone takes their picture. You cant say "I want my privacy!" and then let a crew come to your house and tape you 24-7.

Celebs can still lead a private lifestyle if they want. I have no compassion for 'em. If you do stuff do get in the papers and your well known you may as well expect it......

Well, yeah, the Paris Hilton's of the world are certainly not being unfairly harassed - they court that attention, so I don't have much sympathy for them either. I was thinking more in terms of celebrities like Will Smith who ask them politely not to photograph and harass his kids - in the process potentially making them targets for wouldbe stalkers and kidnappers - and get ignored. Or the guys like Clooney who are minding their own business and have to suffer these jerks getting up in their face and cussing them out hoping that they can provoke a reaction and get a lawsuit (with their buddy strategically placed 20 feet away armed with a videocamera to capture the "assault"). How long could you stand to have some jerk in your face calling you names, saying nasty crap to your wife/girlfriend and refusing to let you walk away? I'd probably be clubbing the guy after 60 seconds of that abuse (10, if my kids were the target). I can sympathize with them in those situations. The other one is when they're at the hospital watching a loved one die or at a funeral and these jackals want to get up in their face and ask insulting questions and snap photos of their families grieving. That's just ridiculous. Judges ought to make allowances for minor assaults under those circumstances.

I feel that celebrities are regular people...but they have a cool job...but that doesn't mean that they should be harrassed.
The one person I see getting slammed now...is Rachael Ray...I watched her shows on the Food Channel...and watched her climb up the ladder...but she worked her butt off doing it...and I think about how hard she really works...and how many different shows she was doing...and now she has a talk show and her own line of cookware...so the tabloids are just picking her life apart looking for dirt...they always are setting people up by saying someone is having an affair. People who work hard for their fame...deserve some time alone too...they aren't public property.
They work hard...and they don't deserve to have ever second of their day infringed on...
Now people like the Lohans and Kardashians...the only thing they are being known for is their disfunctional messed up life ...and if they don't go out and get a DUI...then nobody would know who they were...it isn't like they are out there working for a charity or actually working hard like Rachael Ray...they do nothing...that's why I have no idea why anybody finds them interesting....I can go to the local bar around here...and see the same type of women hanging in there...doing the exact same stuff they are doing...so why do people find that interesting?
