Couldn't have asked for anything better, 3 days of perfect sunshine. I went to the country, did some swimming, BBQ's, watched some movies. Just perfect.

Someone forgot to tell us summer is over here, it was a record 30 degrees today for this time in September. An absolute scorcher.

Let's see Saturday we had our first 100 degree day of the summer; pretty unusual as we normally would have had quite a few more by late August. Sunday we had to be pretty close to 100 once again. Then on Monday and Tuesday we were hard pressed to reach 60 either day.
Went from summer to fall literally overnight. Here's hoping for a long extended Indian summer.

September is my favorite month for weather...out of the whole year. Usually it is perfect.
I like the temp to be in the high 70's, low 80's, with a breeze. Today it was extremely humid.
I was busy putting up fall garland. I went to JoAnn Fabrics and bought 10 garlands....and some lady actually followed me to my car to ask me what I was doing with all of it. I told her I had a Bed N Breakfast..and I am an insane decorator...and she said she knew my house...and that she loved it.
So, all afternoon today...I worked on switching stuff over from summer to fall. It really is alot of work.
For me to decorate for Halloween...it takes me weeks.
I went up to my attic today...it was so hot up there I couldn't even breathe...I thought...that I really must be crazy...when I looked around at how much Halloween decorations I have up there. It is actually pretty over whelming.
I told my husband...when I am old...I have to hire someone to help me...because that stuff is so heavy to lift...and he said worry about it now why don't you...and I said...well I'll be old next week.
