If Matilda is Heath's only child, who was getting all his money if she didn't? He had to be a millionaire. You would think that whomever did inherit his estate...would have made sure that Matilda was taken care of...it was probably someone related to Heath.
I think it is a nice thing that those guy's did.
But, it is kind of strange that whomever did inherit his estate hadn't already done that, that makes them look pretty bad.

From what I've read, Heath was worth around 60 million American dollars. I think his family in Perth got a percentage, and Matilda and Michele Williams got the rest. I think Law, Depp, and Farell did what they did because at the time it wasn't exactly known how much Matilda would inherit. She'll inherit even more now since "The Dark Knight" success probably.....
