I'd have to say Sam's the best, followed by the Nagano "snowlets" and Whatizit (who I remember had his own animated special on TNT just before the Atlanta games aired, about his attempt to leave the "Torchworld" in which he lives and compete in the actual games).

I think the current ones look like something out of pokemon... [Roll Eyes]

I really like the Montreal beaver "Amik" though, very cute and he doesn't look like some cartoon thing.

OMG! I totally forgot about Misha the Olympic Moscow bear. I had a pencil sharpener in the shape of Misha.

Does anybody know what year that must have been?

The Moscow Olympics were 1980.

There were three mascots for the Sydney Olympics in 2000, Syd, Milly, and Olly, I think they were a echidna, a koala and a kangaroo...
