What are some of your fav or most original display names people have used throughout the years on The Rewind......here's a few and why I like them:
1, AdventuresinGooniesitting - combining two movies was a way cool idea and he even added Dawson's Garage as his location.
2. Ali_with_an_i - obviously from "The Karate Kid", but extremely original to actually spell it like Ali said it in the movie.
3. Gremlinbreakfast - sorry Muffster, but you have to admit it was a cool name.
4. Bionic Bigfoot - actually more of a 70's name, however any fan of "The Six Million Dollar Man" can appreciate.
5. Names like cindymancini and Cherry Valance - where you almost feel like you are talking to the character from the movie.
I have plenty more, but I'd like to hear what other people think first.

I know mine is basic and didn't require a lot of thought, I actually had another name years ago, but I lost the password and couldn't get it back (long before I was a mod).
I happen to like all the people that use characters from movies, it's original, and it's like talking to someone and that is their name.
Even though so many people contribute to this site, it's feels like you are writing to a real person when you write to lets say a Muffy, and it feels like you are responding to a Dear Abby letter when you write to an 80srocked (even though you do in fact rock)
Just my viewpoint.

i changed mine, because i think i was the only one here using my actual name as my screen name. and people assumed i was a boy with the name RONNIE (not to mention, the nature of some of my posts) so i went with nowheregirl, taken from the song by b-movie. love it, love it.
i really like the screen names DEATHBYSTEREO & TKO and DEVOLUTION.

I love everyone's names....I think they are all creative.
It is so weird when I have talked to people off the Rewind...and they call me Isis on the phone...it's like your not you anymore your someone else. I don't really like my name...I never intended to be here forever when I came here...so I didn't really take the time to think up anything... but then once you start posting ...and you change your name around I think it confuses people.
I really like the names Deathbystereo and Bionic Bigfoot too.
It is cool when you talk to people off here and you get to know their real name...sometimes it actually is hard to refer to them by their real name though.

I don't talk to her off of here, but I know Cindy Mancini's real name and I still always call her Cindy when I refer to her.

I love the diversity of all the different names. Some are so obvious and others you have no idea how you came up with it. Good example is records1black. I was wondering how you came up with that. Nice original idea. As far as "80'sRocked" goes, I wanted to come up with a name that could be interpreted in 2 different ways. One meaning that the 80's were awesome and the other obviously referring to the great music too. Perhaps I will modify it someday.
I also enjoy the original ideas at the bottom where it says "from." This I will probably change quite often. My current location "a place where the beer flows like wine" is a line from Dumb and Dumber.
BTW...That NowhereGirl song ROCKS!

OMG...hahaha...I do the same thing!! I talk to Isis on the phone alot and when I mention people from here, epecially you Valley, Muffy and Devo, I always use your Rewind names, eventhough I know your real names. But then when I talk to you guys individually, I call you by your real name...odd, eh?
Here's one even funnier...EarthAngel is one of my MySpace buddies and she has left comments on my page calling me Cindy...my "real world" friends are probably like..."WTF, who's Cindy?!?" Hahaha!!

Cindy Mancini, you have "real world" friends? Do they actually understand your 80's quote dialect?

Yup Paul E always talking on the cell phone lol. Paul also managed the Dangerous Alliance which included Rick Rude, Steve Austin, Arn Anderson,Larry Zbyszko and Bobby Eaton which was pretty much a dream team in itself. Here's a newer pic of Paul minus the big hair.........
