I have been watching more anime recently, not just because there's loads on Netflix but because my new blu-raqy player came wish some apps for movie sites, one of which appears dedicated to the genre.
Currently I'm watching Attack on Titan, which for the uninitiated shows an alternate earth where mankind has been effectively corralled into a single big city by the appearance of giant humanoid creatures who seem to eat human flesh for fun. A deep cut to the back of the neck is the only way to kill them, and so the trained troops need to get in real close.
There have been a few others I enjoyed recently, such as Black Lagoon, Psychopass, and Appleseed Alpha.
Any other fans out there?
