I purchased "License To Drive" today which I will save to watch this weekend. Also I picked up "Mischief" at a bargain price and I might actually watch it tonight. I haven't seen that movie in a long time, so it should be interesting to see how much besides Kelly Preston I remember about this movie.

I picked up "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" yesterday. They had a deal where, if you bought four DVD's, you got a FREE DVD PLAYER! How sweet is that. The other three movies are more recent though: Finding Nemo, Whale Rider & Blue Crush.
Fairytale_17 - Less Than Zero is one of my favourite 80's movies. I hope you enjoy it
metal80's: very jealous about the "Lost Boys Special Edition". I love that movie.
Now that we have a DVD player, I'll have to stock up!

just ordered fast times at ridgemont high!
It's great hey? It's also the type of movie that's gritty enough to enjoy 10 or 15 years down the track too. It's dated but with superb acting (Robert Downey Jr is AMAZING!!), it's timeless. I think Downey Jr is one of the nost underrated actors of our time

Hi, Today at the closeout store they had the movie "Westworld" for only $1.99 so I bought it. It is about this future hedonistic utopia theme park populated by various kinds of cyborgs intended to interact with the guests in all kinds of ways. The movie starred Richard Benjamin and James Brolin and also Yul Brynner as a bad *** black hatted cowboy. This movie is special because it is among the first movies I ever saw in the theater just with friends and no parents along. We were all giggly high school sophomores. SouthernKat

Oh I have gotten a lot of great movies lately. It always seems that I will take a break and not be into my dvd collection, then all it takes is I get one new dvd, and my juices start flowing and I go crazy buying more and more Here is a list of what I got JUST THIS MONTH!!
Indiana Jones Trilogy Gremlins Special Edition Pump Up The Volume Veggie Tales Collection The Girl Next Door 50 First Dates Eurotrip
This is really the first time in a long time I bought some movies that werent 80s flicks. They were having a big sale at my local rental place so I picked a few up.
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this but you should DEFINATELY pay attention to the 5.50 bins they have floating around at almost every wal mart. I have found a lot of great 80s movies there for a very cheap price. I bought Flashdance there for 5.50, and Circuit City is still charging 17.95 for the exact same DVD. Also I have found Beverly Hills Cop II, The Golden Child, Three Amigos, and St. Elmos Fire. Some of these DVDs are really good too! With Anamorphic Transfers and special features. Others like The Golden Child, are just a plain ol' widescreen aspect ratio, and nothing extra. But still, an 80s movie on dvd for 5 bucks, and at least its the widescreen, even if not anamorphic. Ok Im rambling.
