You just can't go wrong with Criterion ! I'm very happy they started releasing their stuff in the UK as well.
I own the older Sony blu-ray of Easy Rider. Not sure how it compares to the Criterion disc, but i'm happy with it regardless.
I was thinking about getting Polanski's The Tragedy Of MacBeth, and i'm very curious about The In-Laws too.
I've just watched the trailer for The In-Laws on Youtube, and it looks like the movie is a total blast, real funny !

Yeah I just checked out the In-laws (1979) trailer as well and thought it looked really good fun, definitely looks better than the 2003 remake starring Michael Douglas and Albert Brooks though that looks pretty amusing in parts as well!
I picked up Under Siege 2 and Making The Grade on Blu Ray and One Night At McCool's on DVD.
PS Johnny you should have a blast watching Hellhole as it's one crazy, sleazy flick!

The original The In-Laws is one of the funniest movies that I've ever seen. The writing is just fantastically nutty, and the pairing of Arkin and Falk is absolutely brilliant. It makes me laugh just thinking about some of the scenes. "Serpentine! Serpentine!" is pretty much a signature line for the ages.

Alan Arkin is always great I loved his small but very memorable performance as John Cusack's shrink in the awesome Grosse Point Blank.
Picked up on Blu Stretch from the director of Smokin' Aces and like that film a bit all over the place but in my opinion a very fun watch, features cameos from Ray Liotta and "The Hoff" also grabbed on Blu Ray the fun Aussie comedy Mental that features an hilarious performance from Anthony Lapaglia, horror anthology Creepshow on Blu and lastly the John Travolta thriller The General's Daughter on Dvd.

Never seen any of the new Trek movies and to be honest not seen many from the originals but I did watch Star Trek The Motion Picture at the theatres on its original release and some years later went and watched part 4 The Voyage Home at the flicks as well which I thought was a really fun watch and one that would appeal to even the non fans of the series in the audience!
It's a pity what happened to Anton Yelchin,Paul have you ever watched the sci-fi film Odd Thomas - https://youtu.be/DX0Vreu6eW8 with him in it as it's a very imaginative and fun movie!
Picked up a few Blu-ray's and went cowboy crazy with Silverado and Two Mules For Sister Sara, also after looking for it on my shelf for a good few minutes i eventually came to the conclusion that I don't actually own it so I decided to grab a copy of the classic John Landis comedy Trading Places.
Last but not least The Dream Team starring Michael Keaton.

Picked up a couple of bargain price DVD's - the 1987 boxing drama Heart starring the late Brad Davis of Midnight Express fame and Steve Buscemi plus the ace little thriller The Joker aka Poker Night which co stars Ron Perlman.
On Blu-ray I picked up the Scream Factory double feature of The House Where Evil Dwells and Ghost Warrior plus the beach comedy Miracle Beach with the lovely Ami Dolenz.

Almost forgot to mention my september package..
US imports include Chopping Mall, The Rift, Jess Franco's Daughter Of Dracula, Metalstorm ; The Destruction Of Jared-Syn, and Lady In White, all on recently released blu-ray editions, as well as the latest batch of Vinegar Syndrome titles.
UK imports include Sorority Babes In The Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama (88Films' newly restored special edition blu-ray), Panic In Needle Park, Criterion's The In-Laws, Arrow's Slugs, and the BFI's greatly improved Psychomania combopack !
Also this documentary, directed by Simon Sheridan, author of Keeping The British End Up, once again tackling his favorite subject matter :

Definitely ! It got some pretty good reviews on the Imdb, and the disc comes with a fair amount of extra's too.
One note about the new Vestron Video blu-rays though :
The outer slipcases are NOT sealed, and they use those dreaded eco-boxes with the big holes in it. So, while the discs are top-notch, they still could improve on their packaging.
So far i only have Chopping Mall, but i assume they're all packaged the same way. I would prefer to see those slipcases being sealed as well, just the way as Shout Factory does with the slipcases on their collector's editions.

Lady In White is a spooky delight, never seen Metalstorm or Sorority Babes but would like to,cheeky of Lionsgate to charge top dollar for the Vestron line and then put them in those god awful eco cases.
Here's what I've picked up this last month on Blu Ray - Stephen King's It,Prison,The Zero Boys and What Have You Done To Solange.

A few more fridge magnets (minus the magnet part as it is damaging to DVDs) stuck up on the side of one of my DVD towers.

Nice collection of fridge magnets, Young Warrior.. all original artwork, i love it !
This came in the mail today :
Some slight nudity there, but a release like this deserves a little extra attention.
It's a German import blu-ray disc, which has Notti Porno Nel Mondo (1977), a mondo-movie type of documentary with lovely Laura Gemser as our host, presenting all sorts of odd sexual behaviour from around the globe. For some reason, the movie is credited to both Bruno Mattei AND Joe D'Amato !
It's paired up with the even more obscure Prostitution International ; Brigade Criminelle (1980), directed by Sergio Gobbi, and again starring Laura Gemser, Black Emanuelle herself !
I also got the movie Le Diable Rose (1987) on a good quality German import dvd, which came with a very nice, glossy slipcover. The movie stars Brigitte LaHaie, and was directed by Pierre B Reinhard who also did the trash classic Revenge Of the Living Dead Girls the same year.

The scenes from Zelig, which are set in Nazi Germany, with Woody Allen himself integrated into archival film footage of one of Hitler's infamous speeches, are hilarious !
Anyway.. here's my october package :
- The latest batch of Vinegar Syndrome titles, including Deathrow Gameshow, Hobgoblins, and a bunch of David DeCoteau.
- Numbers 2 and 3 of the revived Vestron Video label, Blood Diner and Waxwork 1 + 2.
- Shout Factory's release of Nighthawks, which comes with much more extra's than i expected.
- Blue Underground's Manhattan Baby, the limited 3 disc edition, which also includes Fabio Frizzi's score on cd.
- Arrow's The Hills Have Eyes, which looks very stylish with a sturdy outer box, a nice booklet, lobbycards, and a poster.
Again, lots of double-dipping.. but hey, i'm happy with it !

I went to town last weekend, and came home with..
Labyrinth (30th anniversary steelbook edition)
One of the very very few, big-studio re-releases that was actually given a Dutch release. To be honest, i doubt this new blu-ray edition would have been released here if Bowie hadn't died earlier this year.
We don't even seem to get any Universal catalogue titles anymore. Within the last year or so, several Michael J Fox movies, the Jaws sequels, as well as Xanadu, The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas, and The Money Pit were made available for region B territories. But no, not here in Holland.. we didn't get any of these !
