Along with nearly the last of my collection of Carry On... movies, I just got (and watched) Thunderbirds - urge you to give it a chance, because (a) it's nowhere near as bad as people make out, and (b) the building used for the San Francisco City Hospital early on in the movie is actually the building where I work.
Also, just pre-ordered the 2-disc edition of The Incredibles which is released here in the UK in about six weeks.

I've been in a major Geena Davis mood lately--I recorded The Fly the other night and watched it a couple times, but I doubt I'll buy the movie (Way too sad. ). So I picked up a couple movies she starred in:
CutThroat Island The Long Kiss Goodnight
I haven't seen CutThroat Island yet, and when I saw The Long Kiss Goodnight I missed half an hour of the beginning and it was edited for TV. Hopefully it wasn't a bad buy. They certainly aren't in the same style as Transylvania 6-5000 or Earth Girls Are Easy (Which is funny, because I can watch The Long Kiss Goodnight and think, "Geena Davis with the blonde hair looks an awful lot like she did when she put the wig on in 'Earth Girls.'" ).

I liked both of those, Lupa. Cutthroat Island is a good pirate movie with lots of action and adventure. It has humor too. I don't think you will be disappointed in either one of them.

Won bidding on a couple of laserdiscs last night:
The Time Guardian (1987) - Carrie Fisher, Dean Stockwell P.K. and the Kid (1987) - Molly Ringwald, Alex Rocco (never seen it before)
but I'll have to wait about 6 weeks before I can watch them, surface shipping from America takes forever...

Night Shift - with Henry Winkler and Michael Keaton. The cool thing was that I bought it from a guy whose screen name was the same as my nickname.

Got the Critters box-set in the post today of all 4 films, last Friday I received 9 DVDs from Russia - seasons 1-3 of ReBoot, dubbed in Russian but the picture quality is very very good, I bought them because the first two seasons haven't been 'officially' released yet except S2 in Germany (dubbed in German) but the picture quality is poor. Going to remaster the DVDs with original English audio sometime.
