I've got to say, I really like Facebook, as it has gotten me in touch with so many old friends from HS and college again. Now I actually meet up with some of them once in awhile. Last weekend my husband and I met one group of friends at a bar in a small town about 20 minutes from my home. Last night, my husband and I met up with one of my old roommates ( there were 5 of us in a townhouse) and some other people we went to college with. Do any of you meet up with old friend from college? Did you find anyone through FB who you had been trying to find over the years?

Because of Facebook we're able to plan our 20 year high school reunion, since we missed our 10 year. I was also able to find one of my best friends from elementary school, who moved after 4th grade.

That's great petty. I wish I could find my one friend from 4th grade. She was a Foster child though, so it's been impossible.

I reconnected with a lot of old high school friends through facebook....including my girlfriend of just over 5 years now. We would have never found each other if not for facebook.

This coming Saturday I have a school reunion with loads of people I won't have seen for 34 years - basically since the beginning of the 80s.... all organised via Facebook.

I'm not on Facebook.. so that probably makes me to be among the last of a dying breed these days.
I'm just not the social-media type-of-guy.. i'm not looking for anyone, and i'm most definitely not waiting to be found either.

I personally don't love Facebook. I do think it's great how all of you have been able to reconnect with old friends. I also find it interesting that you guys that hunt down old movies...nostalgia....don't want to hunt down old friends? Haha
