From the 80s, there's also Suspect (1987, starring Cher, Dennis Quaid and Liam Neeson) and The Accused (1988, starring Kelly McGillis and Jodie Foster, who won an Oscar for this one).
Nowhere near as good as 12 Angry Men.. but they deserve to be mentioned nonetheless.

all right top 5 buddy cop teams, you could count characters like eddie murphy from 48hrs, he's not a cop, but it still works.

Joe Friday and Pep Streebeck, Dragnet Rosewood, Taggart and Foley, Beverly Hills Cop Deckard and Gaff, Blade Runer (OK, I know they technically weren't 'buddies' but I couldn't leave Deckard off any cop list) Vinnie Antonelli and Barney Coopersmith, My Blue Heaven Sheriff Bart and The Waco Kid, Blazing Saddles

It's from television instead of movies, but i think Crockett and Tubbs from Miami Vice deserve to be mentioned here.

yeah..this is a tough one..there's so many to go with here. My top 3 are pretty definitive, but the last 2 may be a little iffy.

Damn.. i forgot all about John Carpenter's Halloween tune. I think i would eliminate Survivor's Eye of the Tiger from my top 5 and replace it with the Halloween tune. But that's gonna be my definitive top 5 !
