Can you guys recommend any new, really good TV shows that are on in the US right now? I need some new shows to download and watch. I'm curious about Alcatraz, but I don't want to use up download without being sure I'll like the show.
Any recommendations will be very welcome.

Dunno how new it is (it's new over here in the UK) but Grimm looks interesting.

"Homeland" which runs on the U.S. Showtime network is absolutely excellent--kind of a more realistic version of "24" from some of the creators of that show.

I like Alcatraz, too. Keeps me interested from week to week. Someone mentioned Homeland....my mom likes that show a lot. I've never watched it though.

What kind of tv programs do you normally watch? I like Alcatraz. I think if you watched Lost and liked it, you will like Alcatraz. There is alot of great tv out there now.

Thanks guys... I'll definately try Alcatraz. Muffy, I've watched the first couple of eps of American Horror Story, I'm really trying to get into it. Right now I'm watching Season 2 of The Walking Dead, Misfits (an English show) and 1960's Dr Who.

American Horror Story started off a little slow, but it definitely picks up the pace. It is very different from anything I've ever seen.
