American filmmaker Bert I. Gordon passed away last week at the respectable high age of 100 !
Gordon was best known for directing a slew of drive-in B-movies, including The Amazing Colossol Man (1957), Earth vs. The Spider (1958), Food Of The Gods (1976), and Empire Of The Ants (1977).

Would be interesting to see a career-spanning Bert I. Gordon box-set getting released somewhere down the road.
I mean, in the last couple of years we did get huge box-sets comprising the works of William Grefé, Bill Rebane, Al Adamson, and even Ray Dennis Steckler.. so why not ? Bring it on, i'd say !
