Kinda surprised no one posted about this yesterday, but anyway..
Charlie Watts (1941-2021)
I always assumed Charlie was going to be the band's last man standing. I figured Mick would suffer a heart-attack, Keith would die while doing something stupid, and Ronnie would get himself in trouble after a relapse into old bad habits.
As long as Mick and Keith are alive there will be Rolling Stones i guess, but things just aren't the same with Charlie gone..

Interesting choice.. i guess they must know each other, but from what i understood is that Phil doesn't play drums anymore after neck or spine surgery some years ago, and i believe his overall health nowadays isn't what it used to be.
Steve Jordan, who frequently worked with Keith Richards on his solo projects, will be Charlie's replacement. He has an impressive performing career, no doubt.. but like i said : With Charlie gone, things just will not be the same.

I'm actually kind of happy to see you all didn't go crazy on Betty white's passing on here like everyone did everywhere else. I think us 80's folk have been kind of prepared for her passing for awhile. But yeah, the timing of it was pretty f**ked up.

I agree Pyro. Yesterday I was standing in line at the checkout at Walmart and there was that stupid People magazine with “Betty at 100,” and below it was a special People magazine with Alex Trebek on the cover. It creeped me the f out.
