Also worth noting, legendary WWF ring announcer Howard Finkle passed on at 69. For anyone who watched the sport in its 80s glory days, there's no question his introductions and declarations of the winners in no small part added to the thrill.

Just that Dennehy's Detective Ferguson played a straight and serious counterpart to Chevy's Detective Carlson.

Really sad. Had to watch Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid last night in tribute - the perfect way to appreciate his skills.

It is a complete shocker about Kelly Preston passing away. I don’t think anyone knew she had cancer. So sad. RIP Kelly.

Master guitarist and founding (ex-)member of Fleetwood Mac, Peter Green, passed away last Saturday at age 73.
It was only last February that Green's career was celebrated by fellow musicians with a special one-off concert in London. Mick Fleetwood and Christine McVie (Fleetwood Mac), Pete Townshend and Zak Starkey (The Who), Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), Kirk Hammett (Metallica), David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Bill Wyman (ex-Rolling Stones), and blues legend John Mayall, as well as several others, paid tribute to Green (who was in attendance at the event, but sadly didn't join the musicians onstage).
