Is anyone else as addicted to Guitar Hero as me?
My basement has been turned into a concert hall since Christmas. First with Guitar Hero III for PS3, then I dusted off my PS2 for GH 80's and now it's all about my nightly collabration with Aerosmith. If you haven't played it you don't know what you're missing.

I loved the South Park episode Guitar Queer-o when they parodied this. South Park is probably my favourite show and this was one of my most liked episodes.

Sam, don't be ridiculous everyone knows that real guitars are for old people. I know they slammed GH at the end of the episode, but their take on it was still funny.

If you think GH is fun, try playing the real thing. Loads of fun.

I liked how the episode was done in the style of a VH1 Behind the Music episode. And the evry obvious Reuben Kincaidish of Partridge Family fame character was very funny.

80'sRocked, I probably don't have the patience for the real thing, but the more I play GH the more intriguing guitar lessons sound.

Huge Guitar Hero fan right here. Own GH 1,2 & 3 and love playing 3 online if anyone's up for a game (PS3 version).
Metallica will be releasing the whole of their new album on GH3 and GH World Tour and let's not forget that GH: Metallica is on the way too...
Much prefer this to Rockband as to me its all about the Guitar (who cares about drumming and singing anyway?)

Devo, I was actually a little disappointed in GH the 80's. Song selection was less than stellar in my opinion. I will say that Billy Squier's "Lonely is the Night" made that edition worthy though.
Oh and "Sweet Emotion" for GH Aerosmith is the ultimate.

To be honest I never bothered with the 80's one or the Aerosmith one. I agree on the comments on the difficulty though.
I have also spent quite a bit of money on the downloadable content for GH:3 but it just adds to the game I think.
Apparently the GH:Metallica may have just been a smokescreen and may not happen, it may have been to cover up for Death Magnetic being released instead...

Actually, it took me forever to get past "One" by Metallica on hard for GH: III. That ending was wicked.
The Metallica deal is buy our new album and play the games on Guitar Hero at the same time. A novel idea in my opinion.

Kudos to the 'Risky Business' reference, early Cruise films are beginning to be reappraised as classics.
I've never played Guitar Hero, I can't see the point of playing a gig, trashing your own room and then having to clean up afterwards. So can you play some Kenny Loggins 'Danger Zone' on it or what?

I will admit it, I am addicted. We also have Rock Band. Ella likes to "play along" with the drums. She is adorable doing it. I have tried doing the real thing, I am terrible. So I stick with GH!
