Here's a few I definitely want to check out:

Grimm
Terra Nova
Possibly:
Revenge
Pan Am

What else should I add to the list?

I was reading about the new shows in a magazine. They were introducing the new men of primetime TV! I want to at least give these a chance:
Pan Am Revenge
With all the other shows I watch, starting back up this month.. I won't have much time for many newer ones. I could always record them, but at some point, they will end up on netflix anyway, right?
That sure is a long list above.. so many new shows. Shows get cancelled pretty quickly these days too.

So very true Ronnie.. so many new shows and most will be cancelled quickly. Plus, like you said .. we already have a rather full line-up of returning shows to work in. But I'll probably DVR at least the ones I mentioned above.
So you based your choices on who the 'new' men of primetime will be?
Let me know if any other shows catch your eye in the coming weeks. No plans to try "The Firm" ?
Did you hear that one of the networks was developing a tv show on the 80's movie "Romancing the Stone" ?

Thanks for the breakdown you two.......now is there a good site where I can see some visuals???? I'm a visual person.....otherwise i'll forget?
I really want to check out Ringer Valley....thanks for reminding me......Geller really is great in action roles. I love her.
So if you guys have ondemand.....they are already showing the pilot of New Girl.....I was bored and I watched it......it actually wasn't bad......sorta cute. Those Deschanel girls have charisma.....Bones is one of those I love to watch!
oh yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh and the previews for Once Upon a Time look like they are straight outta of the Henson 80's studios!!! might need to check it out.....have you guys seen them?

I may watch some of these: Hart of Dixie, Good Christian Belles, Pan Am, Revenge, The Finder, Terra Nova, The Playboy Club and Person of Interest. That show 2 Broke Girls looks horrible, awful, yuck. Totally stilted poor acting from the previews I've seen. It's like a bad sitcom from the 70's or 80's where no one can act.

I am definitely interested in Grimm and Once Upon a Time. There is also a new show coming out in October on the FX channel called American Horror Story that sounds interesting too.
Muffy, I heard from reviews that New Girl is one of the more promising new shows coming out.

Oh, yeah, how could I forget about American Horror Story- I am definitely checking that one out. My husband already said "I am not watching!", lol. He hates scary movies or shows.

American Horror Story is going to be crazy almost too over the top in a way possibly .. but with Connie Britton and Jessica Lange in the cast.. I have to give it a chance.

Here is a preview of the fall season. If you click on The Schedule, it tells you what dates everything starts. I am guessing The Finder will be late winter/early spring 2012.

I may watch Last Man Standing and New Girl. Nothing else appeals to me. Plus, I'm tired of getting interested in new shows and then they get cancelled before they're even given a chance.

Hey Val, thanks for listing the dates. I was going through the websites, trying to list everything I want to check out, but remembered that you posted it here, for my convenience ha.
Hmmmm.. The Ringer falls on Tuesdays, along with Glee, Raising Hope and New Girl (those three shows on Fox). Dang it, that's 4 shows in one evening.
I'm not a fan of SMG, but I will check out Ringer, it might be good.

I watched Secret Circle.. it definitely feels like it will be a hit. Plus, it's on right after Vampire Diaries, and I heard it had a big opening night.
Oh and the Prime-time Emmy Awards are on tomorrow night, Sunday on Fox.

I watched the first episode of Ringer. I have the 2nd episode recorded and will watch it later on today. We watched The Playboy Club on Monday. Both shows are okay, will give them a shot, but not spectacular. Tonight I'll be watching Revenge at 10:00. Petty, did you watch New Girl? We saw a little bit of it- well hubby did while I was doing up the dishes and I heard him laughing. We also watched Raising Hope, which I had only watched once last season. Classic Greg Garcia show- it was hilarious!

I've already fallen behind .. but I plan on getting caught up this weekend.
The second episode of "Ringer" was better than the first in my opinion. I'm enjoying it, though it has a few too many soap opera qualities to it. Oh the guy from "Lost" still hasn't aged.
"The Secret Circle" is currently my sleeper pick. Of course, maybe I should wait to comment after watching the second episode.
I've got "New Girl" and "Revenge" recorded .. should I watch them?
Planning on Pan Am Sunday night ..
And definitely this on Monday night though my Monday nights are crazy already:
Finally, I want to see "American Horror Story" and "Grimm" when they start.
But like I said, no way to keep up with all the returning shows and movies I already watch.. so let's see how quickly the cancellations come.

I enjoyed the second episode of Ringer more than the first episode. A little suprise in the ending there, and we also have Dexter's ex-girlfriend playing the husband's business partner. She seems quite devious in Ringer too! Revenge was good- I think it will pick up after the first episode. I think it is like that with alot of pilots to set up the plot and characters. Revenge is being touted as a soap opera. I guess a soap opera for the 2000's? We'll be watching Pan Am too, but I don't have much faith in it. BTW, I thought that Eddie Cibrian's character in The Playboy Club sounded as though he took the Don Draper Diction course (Jon Hamm's character in Mad Men). He sounded just like DD himself- I would have thought it was him if I closed my eyes.

Yeah, Pitt, I watched the New Girl. It was really funny! I watched the first ep of Secret Circle. I think it's gonna be just an okay show, but it's already sucked me in, so I've got the DVR set. I have to see what's gonna happen lol!

I liked the second episode of Ringer as well. It's very suspenseful and intriguing.
I have been trying to remember to record so many things, that I totally forgot to record the premiere of Nikita on Friday grrrr...
I will record Pan Am..and I started watching Playboy club but once I saw Eddie Cibrian.. I was like, blech! Never liked him.
I still haven't watched New Girl, but I recorded it. I saw a few pieces of it when it was on and Zooey looked annoying but I will have to wait and see it.
Raising Hope was great, love that show and Martha Plimpton is awesome... she looked great at the Emmy's..loved her dress!
I saw the preview for American Horror Story, I would like to see it.

I thought Pan Am was boring. I'll give it another try next Sunday, but if it is still boring, I'll just watch the last two episodes of the season for Breaking Bad.

I thought New Girl was ok.. like I said, I found Zooey to be annoying? I will continue to watch and see where it goes. But it's on between Glee and Raising Hope, it will be hard to miss.
Revenge was good. I'm waiting patiently (not) for the next episode.
