I know lots on here hate remakes of anything but I must say I like it when artists pay homage by redoing another artist's songs. Some of my faves.
Pantera and Motorhead both redid Cat Scratch Fever by Ted Nugent, Faith No More redid Easy by the Commodores, and the list goes on and on.

Motley, I hated the original song "Cars," but I love the Fear Factory remake. Also kind of the same with "You Spin Me..." I don't hate the original, but I like Dope's version better. Another one I like is Five Finger Death Punch's remake of Bad Company's "Bad Company." Nonpoint's version of "In the Air Tonight" is really good too.

On the other hand, though, I heard a country version (Sara Evans maybe?) of Rod Stewart's "My Heart Can't Tell You No." Oh it was horrible lol.
