Jani Lane, former frontman of Warrant, was found dead Thursday evening in a hotel in LA. He was 47 years old. RIP.
He was one of my first biiiiiig crushes. This just saddens me.

I loved me some butt rock back when and was a fan of Warrant....never would say I thought Jani was hot.....lol but I did love reading about him and Bobbi Brown in my Metal Edge magazine RIP sad when they leave children behind at such a young age.

Yes, 47 is too young. Sad. He leaves behind of course the fun, tongue in cheek, "Cherry Pie" but let's not forget "Down Boys" and the monster ballad, "Heaven." I still get a chill when I hear those first few guitar notes in the beginning of the song...sigh...

This news bothered me alot when I found out. I was a huge Warrant fan, saw them live with Crue in 1989. Still listen to them to this day. Watch "That Metal Show" this Saturday night(August 27)to see Jani Lane which was his last interview. This was taped 2 weeks ago.... R.I.P.

I remember just last year, a friend of mine and myself singing Uncle Tom's Cabin quite loudly coming out if the Monte Carlo casino. People thought we were crazy.
RIP dude. At least you have left something behind unlike most people.
