I'm a big hockey fan, so just wondering if anyone else is taking in some of the playoffs? My Oilers are doing great and...oh wait....that was 20 years ago! My beloved Oilers are out of the playoffs yet again, though, if they keep getting first round draft picks....might just be a contender in a few years.
I always cheer for any Canadian teams left, so that leaves Montreal and Vancouver, with a preference for the Canuks...both have been doing great...well...with the exception of each of their last games...Vancouver got slaughtered last night. After any/all Canadian teams are out, I typically cheer for any team with lots of great history...Flyers, Blackhawks, Bruins.
Who you guys rootin for?
Pitts....my fellow Nova Scotian, Sid the kid unable to help you guys right now....bummer.....

I have been watching the Penguins off and on. I guess Sid is going to take the rest of the season off. All it takes is one unruly player with a vendetta to hit him and his career could be over. Malkin has been out for a while too. Our two top players out has not been good, but they are still alive in the first round. How about that Chicago game?

Pens are up tonight for Game 6 vs. Lightning. I'm afraid to watch. Philly beat Buffalo yesterday. I was rooting for Buffalo.

And it was a fellow Finn Sean Bergenheim who made the only goal of the game, sorry Pittsburghgirl
So, now there´s only one team without a Finnish player, Washington. I hope that Tampa can beat them too.

I will be rooting for Tampa now against Washington. We are no fans of Olvechkin.

I hate Ovechkin. He turned into a cocky a-hole.

Pitts and 80's....ditto re Olvechkin. Vancouver is up 3-1, but still not playing as good as they could. I like Boston and Philly....wish the series was a bit closer.....Boston is kicking butt....I'd like Boston more without chara...I just don't like that guy. Hmmmmm.....a Boston and Vancouver finaly would be just great!
