Got the sopranos box set for Christmas and just finished watching it and was shocked by the ending.

Was just wondering if any of you have watch it and what did you think of the ending.

didnt know what to think honestly. i watched it as it aired on HBO and thought the cable went out right at the crucial moment. Would have like to seen bobby survive

Everyone that I know that watched it hated the ending. I wonder if they'll ever make a movie?
SPOILERS:
Since they killed off so many characters, I am not sure if they could make a movie that felt the same as the original show.

I watched many episodes, but am far from seeing the entire series. I did catch the ending as it aired...a bit ati climatic for such a show... On the other hand, kinda neat how you get to choose the ending...deciding whether they live or die....

I maybe wasn't as disappointed in the ending as others, as I wasn't really invested in the show, so it ultimately didn't matter....

What do I think happened....the Sorprano family flips the dinner table, each packing heat as they were not oblivious to the plan to knock them off. They succeed in defending themselves...Tony took two bullits, but makes it out alive. * I see a vivid image of the four of them standing with smoking pistols!

i think things went on as usual for tony and his family. being in that type of life you'd probably always expect the cops trying to make a bust, or another gangster trying to muscle in. so i think they were trying to give that message, as oppose to previous scenes earlier in the show where it seemed the mob life was very alluring.
