Thanks for sharing BabyLove. In my opinion, Backstreet Boys don’t belong on that list, as they really didn’t write anything or play instruments. They were a manufactured boy band.

MY PREDICTION FOR THE 2021 ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY
THE 2021 ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES (COVID-19)
1. Carole King 2. Tina Turner 3. Dionne Warwick 4. Chaka Khan 5. Todd Rundgren 6. Fela Kuti 7. Jay-Z
Songwriters Burt Bacharach and Hal David will be inducted in the Non-Performers category. Best known for their work with Dionne Warwick. Burt Bacharach will perform with Dionne Warwick.
MY REASONS
The nominees for the 2020 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony were announced on October 15, 2019. The inductees for the 2020 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony were announced on January 15, 2020. On March 12, 2020, the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame announced that the 2020 induction ceremony would get postponed because of the Coronavirus pandemic. On May 2, 2020, it was announced that November 7, 2020 would be the new date for the 2020 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony. The inductees accepted their awards from the comfort of their own homes because of Covid-19, and it was turned into a show on HBO. The Doobie Brothers, Depeche Mode, T. Rex, Nine Inch Nails, Whitney Houston, The Notorious B.I.G., Irving Azoff and Jon Landau were the 2020 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductees. 12 bands and 4 solo artists were nominated in the performers category for 2020.
Looking at the nominees for the 2021 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, it appears the nominating committee is taking precautions because of Covid-19. There are 16 nominees; 10 strong solo choices, and 6 very weak band choices. So I’m calling it right now! There will be no bands inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2021. The 2021 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony will consist of just 7 solo inductees, for social/physical distancing reasons. That should make for a very intimate induction ceremony. Plus, if there ends up being no ceremony, it would be much cheaper to go to the homes of just 7 solo inductees and film them for the HBO special. Carole King, Tina Turner, and Dionne Warwick are the only locks on the list! They are getting inducted for sure in 2021. No more waiting for them.
THE 2021 ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES
01. Carole King – Rock Royalty. Second induction. She can vote for herself. Friends in high places. Committee members and tons of past inductees will vote for her.
02. Tina Turner – Rock Royalty. Second induction. She can vote for herself. Friends in high places. Committee members and tons of past inductees will vote for her. We Are The World.
03. Dionne Warwick – Rock Royalty. Friends in high places. Committee members and tons of past inductees will vote for her. We Are The World. That’s What Friends Are For. She will get the same support that Sister Rosetta Tharpe and Nina Simone got for induction in 2018. Willie Nelson and Harry Belafonte will follow her into the hall next. Dionne Warwick follows her cousin Whitney Houston into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
04. Chaka Khan – 2020 inductees T. Rex, Depeche Mode, The Doobie Brothers will add to the votes for Chaka Khan, and she will finally be inducted in 2021. Rufus will get nominated again, and Chaka Khan will eventually get a second induction.
05. Todd Rundgren – 2020 inductees T. Rex, Depeche Mode, The Doobie Brothers will add to the votes for Todd Rundgren, and he will finally be inducted in 2021.
06. Fela Kuti – Dark horse inductee; see Leonard Cohen. According to the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is for artists you should know, not artists you do know.
02. LL Cool J - Why do solo dead 90s rappers get inducted before solo living 80s rappers?
03. Mary J. Blige - Will eventually be inducted.
04. New York Dolls - 4 dozen bands have been inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame since the last time New York Dolls were nominated in 2001. Are any of them going to vote for New York Dolls? MC5 didn't get in, Bad Brains didn't get in, Steppenwolf didn't get in, Thin Lizzy didn't get in, J. Geils Band didn't get in. New York Dolls are never getting in. They only had two studio albums.
05. Iron Maiden - AC/DC, Black Sabbath, and Metallica are in. Judas Priest didn't get in, Motorhead didn't get in, Iron Maiden will not get in, at least not this year. It's going to take a while for all three.
06. Devo - See Kraftwerk.
07. The Go-Go's - Pat Benatar didn't get in last year. The Go-Go's are not getting in this year.
08. Rage Against The Machine - Not yet. The voters are still finishing up the 50s-60s-70s.
09. Foo Fighters - This is not Nirvana or Pearl Jam, but they'll get in eventually.
THESE ARE THE 50s-60s-70s-80s BANDS / GROUPS THAT SHOULD BE IN THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME BEFORE ANY OTHERS
The Kingston Trio * The Monkees * Jan and Dean * Peter, Paul and Mary * The Spinners * The Marvelettes * The Spencer Davis Group * Jethro Tull * King Crimson * Emerson, Lake & Palmer * Blood, Sweat & Tears * Kool & The Gang * The Commodores * The Pointer Sisters * Foreigner * Joy Division / New Order

The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame should make induction addendums for certain bands and announce them at the induction ceremonies, but the inductees would not attend. They would just have their names added as inductees with their bands on the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame website, and their Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame trophies would get mailed to them with the year they were supposed to be inducted included on the trophies, not the year the addendums were announced.

Another year and another barrel of laughs. Clearly my definition of Rock and Roll is different than those determining nominees and inductees.
