Finally after 7 months of unemployment and starvation, I managed to get offered 2 jobs in the one weeks. Both are part time, so I've accepted both. Funnily, they are both doing the same thing, merchandising for a large hardware chain. It will be so nice to eat food again!

I would say congrats and I'm sure it helps the finances, but doesn't getting a job puts a damper on your 80's movie watching experience?
In all seriousness, I'm excited for you!

Thanks for the warm words guys. The funny thing is, I've now been offered a 3rd job, this one is full time so I'm going to have to end up the part time ones at xmas. My new fulltime job is going to be a challenge. I will be working as an employment consultant for a company that finds work for people with disabilities and injuries. I think it should be pretty fullfilling. There is some travel involved every couple of weeks, but the main office is only a 10 minute walk from home. And best of all - I get a phone, a laptop and my own office!
